Happy Labor Day

Monday, September 7, 2020

The workers holiday, Labor Day, is here once again. This is not a holiday that celebrates a person, a religion, an ideology, but rather a holiday that celebrates everyone who goes to work to collectively help our country run. Whether it is the nurse that runs to the hospital to care for patients during a pandemic or the lineman that works double shifts to restore power after a tropical storm. No matter what  work you do, this is our holiday.

This Labor Day, lets take an extra moment to thank our frontline and essential workers. Our nurses, grocery store workers, electrical workers, and delivery workers who kept our communities healthy, fed, and running.

I hope that everyone has a Happy and Healthy Labor Day! Thank you for your work over the past year.
