From the West: Boots Tied Up!

Friday, May 27, 2016
We all raise our right hand & take an oath when we become members of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers. That oath should not be taken lightly nor should it be viewed as an entitlement. Our obligation comes with responsibilities.
-We are responsible to show up on time & do the safest & best job we can for our employer.
-We are responsible to watch our brothers & sisters back. We are responsible to take care of our employer's equipment & tooling that we'll be needing it for the next job.
-We are responsible for the reputation & best interest of the IBEW.
It is up to each one of us to study the candidates in an election year & to see where they stand on the labor issues. Our jobs put food on our tables.

So please brothers & sisters show up with our boots tied up, ready to work, be your brother's keeper, help out your coworkers & do a great job with a good attitude. This is your IBEW, engage yourself in it. -Dave Beatty, President, Card #D757494
