Shayne M. Charles 31 of Masonville passed away Saturday, July 23, 2016 at Upstate Medical Center in Syracuse.
He was born April 27, 1985, son of Daniel and Kela (Anderson) Charles in Sidney.Shayne attended Sidney Central School and was employed as a tree expert for Asplundh in Whitney Point. He loved the outdoors, especially fishing and hunting. Shayne enjoyed music and played the guitar.
To know Shayne was to love Shayne, from his goofy laugh to his stupid jokes, he could light up a room just by his presence. He was an amazing father to his daughter, Leelah. They had a connection, more like best friends and she was his world.

Friends may call Thursday July 28, 2016 from 2-4 and 6-8 PM at C.H. Landers Funeral Chapel 21 Main St. Sidney. Funeral Services will be heldFriday at 11:00 AM at C.H. Landers Funeral Chapel with Rev. Tom Vance, Pastor of the Masonville Federated Church officiating.
Burial will be in Masonville Cemetery
