I.B.E.W. LOCAL 1249 INTERNAL POLICY GOVERNING PRODUCTION OF UNION DOCUMENTS TO MEMBERS
- Upon request, the Local will provide members with copies of the Collective Bargaining Agreements, and any addendums or supplements, governing the members' terms and conditions of employment. This includes hiring hall procedures, where applicable.
- Upon request, the Local will provide members with all filings made with the Department of Labor in the last five years.
- Upon request, the Local will provide members with copies of the Local's By-Laws and the International Constitution .
- Upon request, copies of grievances will be provided by the Local to grievants who are, or were in the past, grieving violations of a valid collective bargaining agreement.
- It has been the past practice of Local 1249 to only provide members correspondence between signatory employers and Local 1249 upon presentation of a valid subpoena.
- It will remain the policy of Local 1249 to only provide members correspondence between signatories and Local 1249 upon presentation of a valid subpoena.
